Tatro Toys Creates Paper Playset to Honor “Hometown Heroes” of COVID-19, Gives Them Away FREE.

We are launching a “Hometown Heroes” paper playset for kids 3-12 to honor the work of frontline employees during COVID-19. The free playsets will be handed out at Mestizo, 2323 S Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, LA 70808 on May 30th from 2pm – 4pm at a drive-by pickup tent.

In Hometown Heroes, “Hopeville” as the city is named, makes frontline workers such as healthcare workers, teachers, delivery workers, and cleaning staff essential to keep the city moving. The illustrations are inspired by the sidewalk chalk initiatives throughout the U.S. that have brought hope to so many.

This giveaway will be part of the May 30th Tatro Arts and Crafts Pickup Summer Series. No registration is needed for Hometown Heroes pickup. Playsets will be available while supplies last.

The community can also join the Summer Series and purchase $5 arts and crafts bags sponsored by local businesses.

For more information on the Hometown Heroes playset or to register and pay in advance for the Tatro Arts and Crafts Summer Series, please go to www.tatrotoy.com/summer.
